For those interested only in a conventional oil change interval, Amsoil OE, “Original Equipment” Diesel 15W-40 is available. Other Amsoil diesel oils, depending on the application, provide extended oil change intervals up to 3 times as long as the regular oil change. With fluid analysis, even longer than 3 times the normal drain interval may be achieved.

Amsoil OE, “Original Equipment” Synthetic 15W-40 Diesel Oil (OED) provides those interested in a full synthetic at the lowest possible price which meets API CJ-4 diesel specifications and is changed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended change interval.

Amsoil Premium API CJ-4 Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil (DEO) is the choice for 2007 and newer heavy duty and pickup truck diesel engines requiring the API CJ-4 emission quality standard. This lubricant has a total base number (TBN) of 10.4 providing maximum protection for up to 3 times the OEM recommended drain interval, and even longer with fluid analysis.

Amsoil Premium API CJ-4 Synthetic 15W-40, Diesel Oil (DME) is for 2007 and newer applications requiring the API CJ-4 specification. This formulation is suitable for 3 times the OEM drain interval not to exceed 50,000 miles or 600 hours in one year, whichever occurs first. Drain intervals may be further extended with fluid analysis.

Amsoil SAE 15W-40 Heavy-Duty Diesel and Marine Oil (AME) is suitable for all types of modern and older diesel engines, has a high total base number (TBN) of 12 and can be used for extended drains of up to 3 times the OEM recommendation. Drain intervals can be extended even longer with fluid analysis. Amsoil Heavy-Duty Diesel and Marine Oil like all Amsoil diesel lubricants, resists heat and break down better than conventional oils. This formula was engineered for pre-2007 diesel engines.

Amsoil Series 3000 SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Heavy-Duty Diesel Oil (HDD), engineered for pre-2007 diesel engines in on-road and all model year diesel engines in off-road applications, may also be used for all gasoline engines calling for API “SL” specifications. This formulation is suitable for 3 times the OEM drain interval not to exceed 50,000 miles or 600 hours in one year, whichever occurs first. Drain intervals may be further extended with fluid analysis.

Amsoil Synthetic 10W-30/SAE 30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil (ACD) is suitable for modern and older diesel engines, is paraffin (wax) free, carries a high total base number (TBN) of 12, neutralizing acids from blow-by, exhaust gas recirculation, (EGR) and high sulphur diesel fuels. It is suitable for 3 times the OEM drain interval not to exceed 50,000 miles or 600 hours in one year, whichever occurs first. Drain intervals may be further extended with fluid analysis. It is a bid appropriate product meeting the requirements of most public and private purchasing bids.

Amsoil SAE 15W-40 Synthetic Blend Diesel OIl (PCO) is the only diesel lubricant in the Amsoil diesel oil line that is not a full synthetic, but is a blen engineered for pre-2007 diesel engines with a high total base number (TBN) of 12 and is suitable for the longest drain interval recommended by the vehicle or equipment manufacturer.
